I have a 2012 tacoma double cab 2.7l 4 cylinder. This did not come with a tow package and I've installed a trailer hitch. I just purchased a pop up camper that has electronic brakes and need to install a brake controller. I'm having a hard time finding the connector under the dash and wondering if I actually have one.

The connector in the image is attached to the wiring harness and it connects to the parking brake so I'm guessing this is it. Can anyone confirm?

I’m thinking that if there’s no tow package, you won’t find a brake connector either.
