I installed the Meso Customs red LED dome lights. I love the look and had no problems for months. Then I took my truck onto some pretty bad washboard roads and then the dome fuse blew. I replaced it and it blew again. So I popped the dome lights out and this metal thing fell out. It was originally above the lights - between them and the roof. It was totally loose and I couldn’t figure out how to put it back, so I left it out. The lights are working fine now, but I could use some help figuring out what this thing is and whether I should put it back. In the pic is also the blown fuse for scale.
