My 2012 Tacoma just turned 10 years old.
Now, the navigation arrival time is off by hours.
There is no place to adjust it.
As I suspected, the license has expired.
Apparently it needs a "map data update"
Dealer wants stupid money to update it.
Does anyone know where to buy it?

    JBL head unit 57016
    Software version 2.1.0

I don't see an SD port, but I see a USB port (I hear it's actually a CD though)
    Thanks

If it's a factory nav unit, I've never hear of one expiring. The map just isn't updated with new roads and points of interest until you buy a map update.

Do you have the navigation user manual? It's different than the owners manual.

here's one I have saved to my computer:

Thank you for your response, and posting the manual.
However, my head unit is different than the one shown here.
It's JBL equipped, and labeled 57016
My unit absolutely doesn't have an SD slot. (the dealer says a CD is required)
I had a hunch since the ETA and navigation errors started at the exact time the truck was 10 years old, it was a licensing issue. The dealer has confirmed this.
Hoping to find a part number for it, and maybe I can find it on eBay or something.
Does this info give you any more ideas?
    Thanks

Site is down and I'm not on my laptop that has my account, but mhhauto has NAV updates for everything. I'll try to remember to check back in the AM to see if I can grab some updates for you.
