    Yeah
All finished up! Really nice having a competent person working with you who can just see something that needs done and do it. He’s not on TW (he’s a ranger guy) but huge shout out to my buddy Blake. Trying to instruct my other buddies yesterday made it take longer than if I was by myself. Blake came over today and we just went to work both knowing what needed done.

    Yeah
Sunday morning I took the 3g out for it’s first ride since the motor incident and proceeded to get it stuck in a sand pit in a creek (overall a great ride) so tonight I set out to pull the interior.

Tomorrow I’ll take the carpet to work to power wash then Thursday if it’s dry I’ll put it back together. I’m leaving out the pad and installing 80mil killmat on the floor instead.

Going forward I’ll be concentrating my time and funds on my 1st gen build but will still do little things to the 3g here and there and I do still plan to add previous mods to the thread here as time permits to keep things interesting.

Notice the standing water under the inverter 2 days later! Also did the 400w anytime while I was in there

    Yeah
The tornado response yesterday put me behind (did tree work till 11:05 pm) but kilmat is going in now. Giving my wrist a break from rolling while I post this but I hope to have it back together tonight cause I want to drive my nicest vehicle to work tomorrow lol.

Not [tacoma] build related but I did do some truck shit last night, just wanted to share and this seemed like as good a place as any.

The wife picked up a second RX chassis, we’ll be putting all her parts from her existing rust bucket onto this clean Florida body.

I've considered one for a drift missile. Seem to be able to find them relatively cheap, RWD and Manual.

    Yeah
I love them. Of course this is her project so it’s about her but she seems to really like the platform. Enough she wanted to get into this rust free body when we ran across it any way.

I’m 35, I was 16 in 2003 and lusted after cars like these growing up. Now it’s like I’m finally getting to live my 16 year old me car fantasies lol.
Next on my list, after I get the first gen to a comfy build level and dial back the Subaru modding, I’m going to be looking for a 3000GT VR4 or Stealth RT/TT. I just can’t resist the early 2000’s jap sports cars!

Yessir. I've been combing the web for cheap steals on the old Jap cars, but so far I'm coming up with nothing except halfway across the country and suspicious.
