I have the FS40 CE. It ran good for the first 5 years. Now it doesn't want to stay running no matter what I change, plug, filter, clean the muffler screen from carbon. I think the carb is junk.

The Stihl leaf blower BG50 still runs great after 7 years. The Husqvarna leaf blower the fuel line kept getting eaten up by the fuel.

Now I buy anything with a Honda engine, Honda snow blower, Simpsons pressure washer with Honda motor with Cat pump, Husqvarna mower with Honda engine.

No luck with battery operated equipment. The battery pack don't last long.

I am amazingly doing fine with the GreenworksPro80V (Amazon and Costco) - and I beat on the stuff. All batteries still fine. That said, their 40V and 60V stuff is GARBAGE from all reports. Ryobi factory for all of it. Will not warranty EBay, must be some serious counterfeit stolen shit out there.

Never had a problem out of any of them.
Just bought a Milwaukee battery powered hedge trimmer. Works great.

I bought this hoss a couple months ago. It's definitely powerful, but you'll get your upper body workout for the day if you use it for any amount of time.

However, it makes quick work out of trimming and does a pretty good job.

Could I have gone electric (battery) for something like this? Yea, of course. I just like the power of gas. All my 2 stroke equipment is Echo as mentioned before, so it fit in perfectly.

Most of the stuff I tried was powered by 40V or smaller battery pack.

The brand was your favorite Ryobi. o_O

What do you think about the EGO mowers? The local Home Depot pushes these on people.

    Hahahhaa

40V or under is toy range. Yeah I know, Red v. Yellow. But you want a strong electric motor? You need VOLTS and AMPS to make WATTS of POWER efficiently.

Ego? Unknown to me. But what voltage?

Look like the biggest EGO battery pack is 56V. Runtime look like 45 min to 1 hour.

I also read the more you use the mower their's a decrease in battery runtime.
