On 300 / Rim Road?... looks like a well maintained road for sure - wouldn't want to get out there and run out of gas by missing a turn or taking a wrong turn. I might just settle for shooting some shots off of the Vista pull-outs that just happen to be looking southernly -

I have made friends with quite a few private land owners that give me access to 10,000's of acres without a single soul on it but me!

happens way allot. My wife went camping up outside of young with some people and the people wouldnt drop a pin and made her meet them so they could make her follow them in. wasn't even that great of a spot but was just very secluded. I get it. But she could have dropped a pin while she was there.:notsure:

Well you are able to drive the enitire 300 road and back to payson in under a half tank of gas. It goes from woods canyon lake and will drop you in to Strawberry on the other side of payson. That side is a little more quite as most people go to the top of the rim to get in not the strawberry side.

I like to make friends with the ones who illegally lock a right of way gate.

Me too, although it does get a little tricky when state trust land and blm land are surrounded by deeded property. Those are the best folks to be friends with.
