Tacoma SR entune swap.

Hello! I ordered an entune unit but don’t have the gps antenna. I was reading somewhere on this forum that this lil guy here did the trick. Would this work for this unit? Also need tips on cutting the bezel to shape! Was thinking of taking my m18 multi tool too it.

I'm not 100% sure but I think there is supposed to be a connection from the bottom "box" to the top. See this thread. You can sort of make out the wire in brown plugs. Also, this should answer your question about that GPS antennae

EDIT: Looks like you were already in that thread asking questions. You have the same radio, which is the same as the radio in my 2019.

 

That is the correct part. Plugs into the back of the unit and goes under the dash behind the radio. Make sure you install it the correct side up. Rather than cut the bezel, I would but the correct bezel. "Infotainment" has the part. I got my premium unit, antenna and new bezel from them when I replace my base with a premium unit.

P.S. They also have a video on the website on the install. I did the exact same swap on my 2018 SR.
