Finally getting around to replacing some damage I have on the passenger side bedside panel before I get my lift next week. Too much for PDR. OEM panel I got for about $600, $75 for decal and paint about $750. Saving about a $600 removing and installing myself. Was wondering if anyone's done this, from what I've gathered, doesn't look too bad, but then I've seen some places people complaining about it. Also the fact that the body shop is charging 6 hours labor is somewhat telling to me. Although they were going to charge 1 hour to remove my front bumper, and that ended up only taking me 15 minutes to remove myself...

Just wondering if anyone's done it and if there were any unique challenges or roadblocks you hit. Thanks

Cant help you with how long it will take or roadblocks you may find, but as a ex-auto body tech I can tell you right now you better cover the back of your cab and part of the rear door with 2 layers of blue painters tape. No matter how careful you are, you are going to bang the bed side on the cab and I would hate for you to trade a damage bedside for a damaged cab.

Did you ever get this swapped? How did it go?
