After his draft horse passed away he switched to a Taco drawn plow. Those 18k are agricultural miles.

I put The Wildpeak A/T3W tires (265 /60 R18 114T XL RBL) on mine back in July 2020. Since then, I've driven about 20,000 miles and they are already worn down to 6/32 tread left. They start at 13/32. so at this rate they will be smooth in only 40000. Doesn't seem like they last...

Weird thing, I know a guy with the same scenario as you. I have probably 30-35 thousand on mine with 2 of the “steps” in the tread still showing, he has 1 left with probably close to the mileage you have. I do not by any means drive my truck like an old lady either. I’m actually doing some work in the plant that makes these tires and with the amount of quality control they have it baffles me that there are inconsistencies like this between owners. The other guy I know with them has an F-150.

Mud handling tires in general are going to have wider grooves in order to get better traction. But that also means less surface area of rubber making contact with the road, so they don’t perform as well in rain and on ice. It’s always a trade off.
