I get to play with my plasma table tomorrow. Yay, me!

Been doing so much other stuff helping sick friends and family, I'm gonna have to learn me all over how to run it!

...and, no, I do not have the THC rack that you made for me installed. So ashamed.:anonymous:.

You could repurpose your living room for a table just saying !!

If my hips and knees still worked I would build one in a second and could find a good helper.

For someone that's been welding as long as you have, I would've thought you'd stick with oxyfuel

You are quite correct the Oxy-fuel is still my go to I reach for the striker on my right hip that has not been there for a few years.

That table would be a royal pain to convert to CNC!

Big bulky the fuel gas and oxygen manifolds were a pain to move around .

it would suck at cutting sheet metal it was great for 1/2" steel and thicker for rebuilding loader buckets.

With a little help you would be able to pick the skills you need.

Once you understand the concept like anything else it is not hard.

you seem to have picked up welding pretty easy.

I was curious if you had installed it yet...

Been awhile since made any progress on mine as well. But... today I was able finish wiring and testing the stepper drivers.

Just curious what did you pay.

I have not needed to purchase any in a few years after swapping all the empty`s.

    Just shy of $16

Paid the difference having turned in my Argon tank; was filled with 126cf of pure Argon and since I got rid of my TIG welder I figured I'd get 75/25. They credited me what I had and did a tank swap.

So to better answer your question, I paid $392 for that Argon tank which includes taxes and gas. Chalk it up to $408 for 75/25 for 142cf.

A tank swap for 75/25 will be just over $50.

Your Argon cylinder still had the plastic seal on the valve?

I have swapped empty cylinders for different gases never received credit for any gas .

No, and they don't normally credit he said but he took care of me.

I have an account with said shop and they have me down as Military verified or something. Not that I get a discount on gas or tanks cause I don't, but he must've just wanted to hook me up.
