I was trying to!!!! A friend recommended a Rivian (they *are* being spotted on the roads lately) but I'm about 3-5 years behind that wait list and well, not all of us can afford an $85k truck that can't be charged in the backcountry ;)

You look Stoked.... Congrats on the new truck

I had some trouble getting used to swinging into parking stalls when I upgraded to my 08 Tacoma from a Ranger.
Now after 14 years, its duck soup.
I suspect I will need to adjust all over again when my 3rd gen arrives. You will get used to it.

Asking a follow-up question, since it seems like there's some really knowledgeable people here...
Anybody have experience or advice with dealing with insurance for medical claims and the ensuing "pain and suffering" payout? I'm not at fault, my own insurance (USAA) is collecting the bills and will then get reimbursed from the other person's (Geico), but they've spoken to me a few times about waiving liability and getting a payout. My question is: what happens once my bills are settled, and it's time to speak to Geico about the pain and suffering after months of medical appointments?

I'm still receiving medical care for the whiplash (that shit is actually no joke) and the sprained shoulder (also really frustrating) and just want to know more about how the process goes. Saw on another "is it totalled?" thread people giving advice on how to best deal with insurance companies in this case and was curious if anyone either has advice or can send me to the right forum here to ask and get thoughtful answers?

And for the vehicle, my '05 was appraised at $13,000, which is more than fair given that's just bout what I paid for it in 2016 (!!) and has been settled.
