Can't unlock all doors with door handle or one press of key fob

I was told to go to Apps --> Vehicle->> Vehicle Customization but i can't access the vehicle button. pls help

 

Is your truck turned on? I had this issue at first..I can't recall though if I needed to start the truck or just let it load for a minute...Maybe try doing it with the truck on or off, whichever you haven't tried yet.

 

This is the correct answer. The vehicle has to be running and not in accessory mode. The options will take about 5 seconds to light up after the vehicle has been running.

Can't seem to find the setting on a SR. Just has the basic radio. Anyone done this on an SR?

 

This was driving me nuts, sick to death of the wife trying to rip off the passenger handle waiting for the 2nd press unlock every time. Great video instructions, worked like a charm!

 

Does anyone know the purpose of only unlocking one door? I assume it’s a safety thing, but why? Is it to prevent a ninja from jumping into your back seat before you drive off?

Changing it to open all 4 doors was one of my very first “mods”.

 

Security. I can think of a few situations that are more likely than a ninja where the setting would come in handy. Say getting away from an angry domestic partner. It is for us paranoid people who are scarred from working in places/situations where people want to kill/kidnap us. In other words, not most Americans.

 

Key fob push lock and unlock at the same time and hold for about 3 seconds car will beep twice and should be good to go all doors will unlock. New to this and finally stumbled on the answer.
