Broke a bolt on my rear wheel assembly today. Any suggestions for replacing it? Is there a suggested aftermarket upgrade, or just to to the auto parts store and get whatever they have in stock?

One from the auto parts store will work fine.
An air chisel will make getting it out easier.
Other wise, BIG hammer and punch. Watch your fingers.

Had that happen a few months ago. O'Reilly had a replacement that fit for a few bucks. Hammer out the old one, use a prybar to get the new one mostly in. Then use a lug nut (preferably an open ended one) and a few washers, along with a zip gun, to draw it the rest of the way in. It's really easy.

I think the size is 12x1.5mm. I used a shallow socket or larger nut to pull it through.
Kind of like you do ball joints in a sense.
