Anyone knows why my master warning light would periodically appears (no buzzing sound or other warning light appear) when I turn off my engine? I thought it was a reminder to turn off the headlights with engine off but that's not the issue as I didn't get the master warning light with the headlights still on and the engine off. The master warning light goes away once I open my door and stays off until it randomly wants to turn on. Not sure if others have experienced this and just want to find the root cause.

    Oh look, another mod....
I have had that happen to me when one of the following occurred:

    1) I took my seat belt off before I put the truck into park and shut it off.
    2) The sunroof or back window was open.
    3) One of the windows was left down.

I've found it's just a warning light letting you know that something isn't closed or wasn't done in the correct order.

Read your owner's manual for all the indications it appears.

That was the first book that I consulted. It really wasn't too helpful in understanding why the master warning light appears.

Good to know that it's not just me... That was the way I took it as. The manual states that there should be a buzzing noise accompanied by other warning lights and that was not the case.

I've found the below non-malfunction 'triggers' to be the most common, primarily door/moonroof for me.

    ****

Indicates that one or more of the doors is not fully
    closed.

Indicates that the engine switch is turned to the
“LOCK” or “ACC” position (vehicles without a
smart key system), or off or ACCESSORY mode
(vehicles with a smart key system) and the
driver’s door is opened while the lights are turned
    on.

Indicates that the moon roof is not fully closed
(with the engine switch off, and the driver’s door
    open).

That section of the manual where you got this information will direct you to another set of pages which tell you why that light will illuminate, with images and everything. Just like @caribe makaira stated. Not sure about the '22 owners manual but the '20 describes the light on page 476 (your quote above) and directs you to page 482. Pages 482 to 503 all contain indicators as to why the master warning light will illuminate.

I've got the same error--in my case it's a "maintenance required" message that appears for just a couple seconds at startup and then goes away. It can't be found in Messages later either. It's annoying for certain but can be reset (I have to remember how again).

This is how to reset it if it is just the Maintenance Required message.

mine went off sunday for a new one... for me anyway.

there's a weird railroad crossing near me where the tracks are lower than the road, so you're going down at like a 30* angle, cross the tracks and then back up at another 30* angle.

i was slowly approaching the tracks and the light lit up, beeped at me and the brake pedal went nuts

You'd think a truck painted lime green would be ready for some wild shit.

Mine does that when I am driving and a vehicle pulls out immediately in front of me. I think this is some collision avoidance BS.

I know what it is dude. I just thought it was funny it was set off by railroad tracks at low speed.
