I’m interested in a 2.7 4x4 but I’m concerned with the seats not having the 10 way auto seat adjustment. I’ve heard a lot of comments about the awkward seat position. Should this be a concern? BTW, I’m 5’9.

If your less then 6 ft tall zero problems..all the problems seem to be from over 6ft tall drivers..I'm 5ft8 and have zero problems without power seats in a 22 SR5..although they do make " seat jackers" which are just a spacer to lift the front of the seat like 1 inch or 1.25 inches for better leg support, on long trips etc..people seem to love them, but at $100 a set per front seat I'm on the fence about them..

I think I'm 6' even and like the seats. I questioned some reports about the low seating position. I think it's fine with no power adjustments on my 2007.

I heard about the 'seat jackers' - but yea $100 would make me want to come up with something on my own if I wanted to raise the seat.

I'm 6'3 and zero issues with seats in my access cab. Only complaint is with center console being to wide were it flares out to meet lower dash.

    5’7” wife can fit comfortably
    6’2” son comfortable
    6’4” me comfortable
    - All 3 of us fit more comfortable in the Tacoma manual drivers seat than our 2016 4Runner power seat

A tall family! I find the Tacoma manual driver's seat much more comfortable than the Honda CR-V I traded in for it. Consumer Reports has always given the 2nd gen Tacoma demerits for having seating they deemed too low. I don't get that, it's fine IMO. Same for the ride quality as 'very stiff'. Yeah it's not a Cadillac ride as the cliché goes - but hey it's a truck. My 2007 rides better than my Silverado, but that has an off-road Z-71 suspension.

There may be improvements with the 2022 Tacoma's seats. I know the 2007 got slightly larger seats than the 2006. I also test drove a 2006, didn't really notice anything significantly different.

My son’s 22 Tacoma SR rides so much nicer/softer/smoother than my recently sold 2015 Tundra
