We require tuners to be loyal to the KDMax tunes. The people who left wanted to offer other/competitor's tunes along with ours.
No hard feelings, I have nothing bad to say about most of those guys who left. And I have nothing bad to say about the other tunes. Any tune is better than the stock tune!

I don't know if its how my truck is set up or what but my impressions of the pro xt vs pro+XT I definitely got a better wow factor and overall experience. Truck performs magnificent. I'm really stoked on my commute . Loves the premium fuel this tune does really

I received a killer review today from a customer who had a brand spanking new 2022. Tuned with KDMaxPro+XT on the normal throttle. Making Tacomas Great Again!20220626_153639.jpg

@shotgunbilly420 so are you back on KDMAX Pro+ XT now?

If so are you showing any bump in MPG’s since switching. Know your truck is heavy wondering what your seeing, thanks.

So I jumped back to pro xt sport throttle to see how my truck handled it . Far as fuel mileage yeah it's right in the sweet spot about 19 to 20 mpg, this is keeping it at 60mph with my foot no cruise control . Again I run premium fuel to obtain my numbers . I got better impressions from pro xt vs pro+XT. Not really sure why . It boggles my mind but I'm super happy with how it performs now . The other day I was running pro xt hard doing 75 to 80 mph and had the ac going full blast . I was getting decent mpgs. About 18.5 .

What is Pro XT? I thought the progression was Pro, Pro +, then Pro + XT. Did I miss one?

Some guys (in Florida- flat land) wanted a version that got to 6th gear sooner.
The Pro+XT goes in 6th later on the highway.
The ProXT goes to 6th sooner on the highway.
    That is the only difference.

I get a little lazy sometimes and just refer to it as KDMAX Pro XT (meaning latest Pro + XT).

My observations with stock except for RCI slider and running 87 grade is Pro + XT give me the best performance and MPG’s. I’ve been averaging 20 -21 + along the flatlands of the Gulf Coast.

    UPDATE:
Phich took some time last night to help me get my truck back in good shape and the tune is acting MUCH better now. He gave me a new air filter to replace my old one, cleaned my mass air flow sensor, replaced my spark plugs, and used some sea foam spray to clean my upper engine. My truck has 67,000 miles on it and when he was removing the spark plugs two of them were not as tight as they should be and looked much dirtier than the other four. He also reset all the values of my computer back to factory.

My RPMs are back where they should be, shifting feels smoother, and my truck feels more responsive. Really appreciate all the help he’s offered

I feel less of a Chris because I've only cleaned batt terminals and installed a remote start for an owner. I strive @Phich

    Success!

He forgot to mention, in addition to the tune cost, he paid in beer.
    Quite sufficient

One of the plugs in question.
Plugs shouldn’t t look like this at/near the change interval (60k).
And the two loose, dirty plugs weren’t even hand tight.
    Check yer plugz!
