Can anybody explain why the torque spec for the Front Stabilizer Bar Bracket is 30ft/lb in the original PDF on the post compared to 37ft/lb as found here? http://www.ttguide.net/front_stabilizer_bar-1407.html. Seeing the discrepancy here makes me wonder which is correct?

i thought about that initially, but second gen runs up to 2015 as well so wouldn’t the new torque sheet be for 2016-current?

I don't know what changes they may have made on the sway bar mount. Possible larger bolt or mounting hardware.

Thank you so much for this! I used these diagrams exclusively today while installing a suspension lift. I printed off the pages I needed, but there will be many more uses for this info. I appreciate it!

You might want to double check here, specifically post #10. Some of the numbers seem different between 2nd gen / 3rd gen.

Are you specifically looking at the toe and camber adjust cam torque specs? I see a big increase from 100 to 135 lbs. from gen 2 to gen 3. Anything else? Also, where can I get copies of these for gen 3 torque specs? Toyota dealership or online? Thank you.

That was the big one that caught my eye. The others didn’t look familiar, but I didn’t check. I would look at them all.

on page 1 of this thread under rear suspension components correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the torque called out for the u-bolts is 37ft lbs. wtf? I thought it was around 90ft lbs.

For the oem U-bolts.....yes......for the aftermarket ones no. The oem ubolt is thinner and the nut plate is mildly adequate......I have the Wheelers U-bolt flip kit and the U-bolts are 1.5x thicker and it has a 1/4" steel plate for the nuts.

Thanks, didn't realized the oem ones were that much thinner (they were only on the truck for a month.)

Man I was thinking the same thing. I torqued my Deaver springs to 100 ft/lbs, to see 37 was concerning. On the Deaver springs it states their required torque.
