    Yet another vibration post.

Just lifted 2" or so with toytec springs, bilstein 5100s and add a leaf. About 250 miles later I started getting a pretty strong vibration only in the shift knob as I would pull away from a stop in first gear. Doesn't happen in any other gear and I don't feel it in the steering or in the seat. Only the shifter shaking like hell.

I did a diff drop over the weekend and that helped a little but it's still there.

    Needle bearing?
    Need more diff drop?
Normal and I didn't notice it until after the lift?

I don’t it is the needle bearing because you’re description doesn’t fit it’s symptoms.
But you can put it in 4WD and see if it persists. If it goes away, I’d be looking at the needle bearing.

If it were my guess, I’m going to say it driveshaft angle. (Rear)

Check: engine mounts, transmission/transfer case mounts, if those are good I'd go to the rear driveshaft carrier bearing and inspect it, if it looks good I'd change the angle of it with a kit.

Quick update. Installed the carrier bearing drop and it helps some but not completely gone. I already have the ECGS bushing, so we'll see if that gets rid of it the rest of the way.
