It’s fixed, took it in and they found a melted connector by the parking break, I think he meant shifter. It was replaced. He said he thinks the fuel pump could have gone bad and pulled too much voltage and melted it but since we replaced it already he wasn’t positive.

Works now though, no issues all week.

Made a little hanger for this solar light we got out front. Nothing overly complicated but it was nice to break out the welder even if it was just for a few tacks.
The battery on my helmet was dead so I had to violate some OSHA rules.

Ok well that's a good one. Maybe keep an eye on that connector they replaced. Must have been a reason it melted. Thanks for posting the cause of the no start.

Yeah I’ll have to get up under the dash and see if I can find where it is, they didn’t show me.

Serpentine belt decided to shred itself on the way home from work today.
Replaced it with a Gates that was in stock close by.

Found bits of it all the way back around the motor mount.

About 34,000km give or take, if I’m correctly remembering the last time I changed it. It was a Continental belt.

Really not that long, I’ll have to keep an eye on the new one to see if there was something that caused it or if the belt did just give up the ghost.
The pulleys all felt smooth around the edges, nothing sharp.

Werid. Should last longer. Mud and wheeling maybe did it in. Cool

No wheeling recently, or for a while actually :pout:

I thought I felt it hesitate when I pulled off from a stop with the A/C on, I tried it again with it off and didn’t notice anything but then with it on again I didn’t notice it.
I’ll just keep checking on it for a bit until I’m fairly certain it’ll hold.

We had a 20 gallon Kobalt air compressor sitting in the back room at work. I checked it out and aside from being dirty it was in good working order, my boss took 100$ for it.

Cleaned it up a bit when I was checking it over.

That's a good deal. Ever since I got into Milwaukee tools my compressor just sits there taking up space.

I’ve only got one air tool, 1/2 inch impact wrench. I might pick up a die grinder or something like that but I want to build a CNC plasma table eventually and it’ll be perfect for that.

I’d like to get into a power tool line like that but for my uses, I can’t justify the cost of the top tier brands.

Ryobi has a good price point but they’re super ugly, I don’t want weird green tools.

Fixed my tailgate issue, just a lil rock chilling in my latch.
Greased them up a bit too, we'll see how much dirt that attracts.
    All of it probably
