    What’s up TacomaWorld,

I’ve got a 93 T100 and am looking at a long/mid travel setup. My thoughts based on cost and amount of fab work needed have led to a blazeland extended arms kit up front with bilstein shocks and thicker torsion bars (will fab up shock hoops and switch to coil overs in the future after the build) and a chevy 63 swap in the rear with 14in shocks. Any thoughts on this setups and how well it would work? Not sure if the chevy spring swap will match the long travel front?

63's should be plenty, maybe even more than the front LT.

But if you're wanting to do go faster stuff you should look into some spring UNDER axle setups.

Awesome man thank you, the i out I was looking for. Spring under is definitely a bit more involved than I am thinking, as I won’t be doing much desert whoop blasting and will be retaining 4wd on the front 100%.

Then I think the 63's will be more than plenty for you.

Even with LT up front the stock rear leafs probably have about as much droop, 4WD IFS is really limited, that's why the desert go fast guys are mostly all 2WD with a rear spool.

Sounds good thanks for the info. Any idea on differences or issues i might run into on doing this to a t100 as opposed to a just a pickup or tacoma? Front should be similar other than axles which i will get total chaos extended cv’s, but rear i’m not too sure. I am looking at sky’s off-road missing link chevy 63 swap kit, definitely like the idea of not having to change the rear hangers but not sure if it would work with the different t100 hanger setup

I got the rear done with 63’s and long travel fox shocks! Ended up being really interesting actually, as the t100’s rear leafs have the exact same center pin to rear eyelet as the 63’s, and were only shorter from front leaf spring eye to the center pin. This allowed me to use the stock rear shackle location and fab up new rear shackles, and only have to cut off and make new front hangers to maintain he wheel perfectly centered in the wheel well. Got some U-bolts from lordco and made flip plates myself. Made new shock mounts and put them up as high as i could while still being under the box. Ended up awesome, flexed like crazy and rode like a dream.
Very sad ending though, was out rallying before i got the parts to do the front end next and put it in the ditch pretty bad, so the project came to a halt ;(

Here’s a couple flexing photos, got the wheel pretty tucked but still had so much droop left that i couldn’t show in the photos. Also a photo of the front hangers i made which worked awesome slid well of logs and didn’t get hung up since i made such a long angle. And a photo of it after the crash
