Name that Wire !!!!

What on Earth is this yellow wire and why is it hooked to positive battery cable, even more wierd why is it so long and going into my frame on driver's side?

Does anyone know what this wire is going to ??

7 pin trailer harness is my bet.

You’ll have to trace it. That is not a factory wire. Someone has wired something in at some point.

 

At least it's in a loom.

 

I'd name it Frank.













but if you're trying to figure out what it's for you're going to have to locate the other end of it.

 

I'd cut it and see if anything grenades.

Kidding. I'll 2nd the trailer wiring guess. Looks like it goes to it's own in-line fuse holder too.

 

Do you have a canopy? Could be for an aux light or just running power to the box with the engine off.
