Could also be a dieing battery, my blower lasts long enough for me on 1 XC6 battery but honestly never bothered to record run time with it.

I don't think battery stuff had gotten far enough along yet to replace a gas mower for me.

Especially considering I occasionally let my grass reseed and it can get...

Show me a battery mower that can mulch that bahia for 3hrs straight.

Long story short I was supposed to be getting a riding mower from family to keep, it "just needs a quick repair" I was told so I was kinda waiting for that, only when the stars finally aligned for me to go and pick it up I found out it needs a little more than just a quick repair.

Not complaining, a free mower is a free mower and I'm happy about that, just caught me off guard and I had been letting the yard go a tad in expectation that I could fix it quick and be mowing with it same day... But yeah, gotta order parts for it and in the mean time I couldn't take it anymore and had to do it with my 21" push mower and that Milwaukee string trimmer.

In my defense I don't typically go over on that side of the yard and kind have a few trees and a shed that block line of sight from my usual circles. I didn't realize it was getting to be that... extreme...

Rest of the yard was long but not crazy.

    Fine now.

I have to go to the Home Depot soon, I'll check then.

I going to check a local tools supply store for the Milwaukee kit. They take care of warranty issues if I buy from them.

I picked up the 24" m18 Fuel hedge trimmer this morning and it ran around 2 hours on a fresh 5.0 batt. The blade seems really well designed and sharp and is rated to cut 'up to 3/4" diameter' which seems correct. It didn't bog on thick vines that had never been cut before, so I was surprised how well it glides through overgrown brush. Another solid Milwaukee purchase for sure.

She probably got the clearance to say something because NPS/Pipeline is happening this week. If you don't know what that is, make sure you have on two pairs of underwear when you do the YouTube search...Boner Alert!

I picked up the new M18 Inflator over the weekend. Mostly need it for bike tires (a bit overkill) but I have M18 batteries with me all the time. Time will tell, but so far its pretty legit.

    Damn.

Got my leaf blower free as part of a Home Depot special...but that kit you linked has an HO battery. I'll let others chime in if it's a good deal or not.

As far as the leaf blower goes?

    It's crazy strong.

Has 2 max speeds, but is variable in that depending how hard you pull the trigger determines how fast it runs.

    No regrets here!

Oh there will be some mods all right
That seems to be the regular retail price which isn't terrible. For a little more money you could get this kit: https://www.acehardware.com/departm...tzCIq1GlGna8OKP1qbRoCZxwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Or you could also get this kit which has a slightly less capable battery but another tool https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...GHZ-A01vPAmEZaFtlkBoCPQEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
