I have 2008 Tacoma TRD 4x4 since this last April, it has a towing package, but when I tried to connect the trailer I rented, didn't find the 4 pin connector. All I found under the back of the truck is a 7 pin socket that by no means resembles the Toyota connector. I will add the pictures of the wires and of the 7 pin connector it actually has.
Can anybody help me understand what is this 7 pin and how can it be set to turn it useful with a 4 pin connector?

My guess that’s the plug for the “7 pin sub assembly”.
