    Thought some of you might be able to answer a question for me. My wife and I are flying to Calgary this weekend for vacation. I’ve already filled out the ArrivCAN app and submitted it, so I should be good when I get to the airport. I’m planning to drive down to Glacier National Park for a couple of day trips. So I’m assuming that I’ll need to fill out the ArrivCAN app for each trip south of the border. Does anyone have any experience with driving back and forth across the border?

    There is actually a portion in your Constitution I think, where if Canada ever asked, would be accepted, no questions asked, no vote needed.

    There was little skirmish in 1812 though that messed up any thought, where a US militia thought to speed the process up with a few war crimes. Britain came down to Washington DC to slap you folks around for that, and perform a bit of arson. The thought of accepting the offer was ignored by what would become canucks after that.

    Interesting enough, the region the militia, along with an indigenous group of essentially motivated cannon fodder, chose to attack, was populated in large part by ex pat Americans who wanted to escape the politics of the day in the US for a more favorable climate across the line, (sound familiar?) but would have probably been subservient to the thought of eventually becoming the next state of the US. The British fort the militia attacked was lightly defended, by I think 4 people, who saw the 200+ coming towards them, and figured fuck this we are outta here, but not before setting a time fuse to their ammo store room. The ammo was stored in a natural cave, that had a perfect approach angle across a field of the attacking force. When the charge blew, the resulting shock wave was perfectly shaped to render a large portion of the attacking force to mush. The militia leader was incensed that this had been done on purpose, and so took out his rage on the local rural residential areas in a typical pillage and plunder move; what livestock they couldn't take with them they killed, took the fine China, and silverware, and burnt the rest to the ground. Locals were pissed! The king was informed, and so began a war.

    Yes, and the lumber jacks, seal beaters, and all of us living in igloos will be grateful, but just to reinforce the thought, if needed, there may or may not be flocks of cobra chickens prepared to wreck havoc. Well mostly to occupy and shit all over your 'exclusive' golf courses, and mess up those fancy, schmanzy yacht club marinas, and eat your fish, pluck your manicured lawns, shit some more, have sex, creating more cobra chickens.
