    Hey all,

I’m new to both this site and owning a Tacoma! I’ve been waiting to get a 2022 pro for about 5 months and finally am getting one built and I should have it in a few weeks.

I love the way the truck looks, but I think Tacomas look better on 33s. I’ve heard that the new 22’ Tacomas have a slight lift of 1.5” on the front and .5” on the back.

Could I get away with throwing 33’s on my truck stock?

If you keep the stock wheels you will need to run spacers. The new UCA on the 22 Pro will rub 33s without it. Several of us Pro owners are using 3/4” Bora spacers with success. You will also probably have to do some trimming or reshaping of the fender liners to fix rubbing issues. I ended up adding a lift to mine because I had some rubbing no matter what I tried.

I should also add I have 285/75R16 Cooper STT Pro tires which apparently are on the larger side for 33s. Other tires may not rub the liners as bad. No matter what tire you use will need the spacer though.

    You could go with a 255/85/16. It's a narrow 33.
