If the washer cord is there its gotta have at least 83 cents in copper alone.

I was chewing the fat with a buddy out front of his house awhile back, he had sat a working lamp out by the road. Scrapper comes by, stops, buddy hollers it still works! About the lamp...scrapper grabs his snips and waves, snip and hes off. Lamp work no more lol.

About a month ago some crackheads scrappers were near the shop stripping wire. They had a gas can behind their car like they was out of gas. Long story short they came back about an hour later and were picking up the trash they left and a police officer was watching them. They got em at the scrap yard trying to sell it.

My wife just called me on facetime, our daughter wanted to pull her tooth and wanted me to see it. She said "dad, it's in there at least 2 inches":rofl::rofl:

It took her a few tries but she got it out herself :D

I don't think Shane is going to get more than $5 for the scrap. I took in 143lbs of aluminum rivets a couple weeks ago and got $3. And, no, I'm not kidding.

@Jtcmedic I have a heard of bees that have decided the corner of my pool is the place to be for water, they don't bother me at all in fact we like them but I have several people coming over for the 4th & I am worried about someone swatting at them & getting them upset so we would like to get them to start using a bird bath on the other side of the house, they fly over the house coming to & leaving the pool is there a way we can somehow get them to start using the bird bath that is closer to where they need it? It is a saltwater pool and I've read they like that so we are going to fill the bird bath with pool water. Any ideas? I am also curious we had a bee hive a couple of years ago & we left them alone for a couple of months in the winter to find in early spring wax moths had moved in & killed the hive so I wonder if these are some of the offspring of our bees that may have escaped?

Wonder why you didn't get more than that? Did they have steel pins in them?

The scrap place said they did, but I know for a fact that they were Al-Al rivets. The magnetic pickup was super weak and the rivets kept falling off. Certain alloys of aluminum are slightly magnetic anyway, but I decided it wasn't worth it to argue.

Getting them to stop drinking from the pool is tough, they use what is there, if you cover the pool, they may move along but they like the pool water, :deadhorse: try to lead a horse to water

So my new helper had to hear a quick rant this morning, not work related but home. I just shared it because it kind of describes my thought process. It may be really screwed up, you decide...
So this morning is trash pickup day. A couple of nights ago my son set off a few fireworks including two that were packaged in a fairly large box (say 2' square a foot high) I had some other boxes to throw away as well and none of the boxes would fit in our regular waste collection container. But back to my rant; so if I was the driver of a trash truck there no way I would put those fireworks boxes in my trash truck....how would I know there's not a fire smoldering in there? Anyways I put all the boxes in a x-tra large blue bag from ACE Hardware and tape them shut.
