Hi from MI

Hello! I don't have "50 posts of substance" and am therefore unable to contribute any substance to certain threads, so I guess I may as well start posting non-substance.

Wassup!

Picked up my '19 TRD Offroad MTX last November, and have been slowly making little quality of life improvements. Traded in my '04 Dakota SLT because I was tired of looking at the all of free weight-reduction mods that Michigan has offered me.







Mods so far are basic:
-Rav4 Blindspot mirrors
-Spiker hood lift struts
-TacoGarage Dashtop Multi Mount
-MarkGecko bed+underhood LED lights
-OZ-USA C48-01 LED lamps (modified)

For the OZ lamps, I made a custom relay box to have them come on manually either amber or white from a dash switch, come on white with reverse lights, and come on dimmed-amber with turn signals / hazards. It's a simple circuit, but it was my first time really coming up with and building a circuit from scratch, so I'm pretty pleased with it.

I'm loving the truck so far. Not pleased at all with the powerband on the 2GR-FKS - it's a big jump backwards coming from a V8 that had all of its torque below 3500 rpm. I'm adjusting to it, I guess. But, in any case, I'm glad to have a new truck, and look forward to finding fun new ways to make it useful for me.
