    $14k?

Fuck...I was thinking more like $1,400 and that's to turn it into something not street legal.

Remove the bed, cut out most of the rear frame, and reinforce what needs help.

Replace the rear axle housing, as I'm sure that thing is waiting to make it's own drain hole.

Replace front lower control arms, cause those shock tabs will snap off soon.

Chop and weld new body mounts (if applicable) and anything else that sees constant stress.

That's before we even touch on maintenance. I'd have to sell most of the interior sans driver seat just to get some money back.

The KKB is a lot lower than his price as well. I guess he thinks it’s worth that because there’s a camper shell (that doesn’t lock) he added a back up camera and touch screen radio. It looks good inside and some on the outside. Other than the clear coat coming off on the hood. It wasn’t until I looked underneath. Then I started having second thoughts. That’s why I came here to see what others had to say. And I’m glad I did.

You did some due diligence, good.

Just wish everyone was like that. Too often do we come into new threads like "just bought this Tacoma, but it's got a bad frame blah blah blah."

More than half the time they're blaming Toyota too

    Not worth for 14K..

Ask for lower and you can clean the rust off and put rust protection on it.... as long as there is no metal break due rust.

If you have money and time, then you can transfer the body and other stuff onto new frame.... and go from there

If you can't do that or don't have time to do so, then I suggest that you walk away and find a truck somewhere else.

OP there are some similar mileage trucks in much better shape out there and selling for far less as well, I know it’s a struggle with the market the way it is, but patience is your friend. You’ll find something, and TW will be here to help when and if you do.
    Just for some perspective.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
My 2000 Tacoma was worse but I only paid $500.00 for a running driving Truck .The Asking price for mine is now $75,000.00 Now that the radio works.

For $14,000.00 or even $2000.00 I would keep looking .

I didn’t pick up that it was a Tundra but I did think the emergency brake cable looked different in the picture of the rear axle.

Plus those CV axles in the pics have much longer shafts than Tacoma ones

You can fly to Arizona, buy a rust free truck, and drive it home for half that price.

You must've missed the part where I mentioned cutting stuff off; I'd be pulling lights and whatnot with said body parts.
