I'm rocking the basic steelies right now and looking to get something a little fancier for rims. Of course being a child of the 80's and having a black taco, getting the same rims as the Marty McFly Tacoma seems fitting and I really like them. Question is, do I want to keep at 7" width? I will be on snow and ice far more often than mud so I'm planning on keeping the 245 tire size. I'll use up the factory Hankooks and probably go KO2s or similar on the next tire change. Is 7" the ideal width for my application?

Also for consideration in the backspace. The 7" is 4"bs no offset. An 8" is 4"bs -6mm offset.
