Morning everyone! I drive past this neat tractor thing every day and say, “ one day I’m going to get a picture of that thing”. Well, today was the day.

 

I'm alright. I had time to process and prepare when I was down there, it was just a matter of what day it was inevitably going to happen.

Because sometimes you just can't have enough on your plate...

While I was in Georgia, I was bitten twice by a spider (for visual, 3" above my left knee on the inside of my thigh) while I was sleeping. My wife said that a few years ago she was looking up some information for one of her patients and said my bites were probably from a brown recluse, so that's pretty nice.

At least it's healing up alright.

I've never lost an immediate family member and I can't imagine what you are going through. If you need to talk about anything, we are all here for you

Wow that’s quite a hit! Glad she’s ok. I did a similar thing when I was a kid, accidentally hit my friends sister the same way. We both started crying and ran different directions, I wasn’t allowed back for quite a while.

 

Accidents are going to happen, nothing we can do about it but learn from them. As Cole and I sat in the hospital room last night while mom and Sadie were gone for the scan I said son, what have you learned today? He said to be more aware of my surroundings. I said that is exactly what I wanted to hear and I gave him a hug and told him I loved him. I can't imagine how he feels from doing it and me fussing at him when they came in the house didn't help anything.

I am constantly telling him to be careful, he always says careful is my middle name. I respond every single time "prove it".

I got lifetime rotate and balance at Discount Tire so they check it for me when they rotate my tires! Matching spare so 5 tire rotations.

 

Too bad we can’t bottle good parenting and put it in the water supply. It would cure so many ills.

It’s amazing what we (60s, 70s kids if you're in that range) endured growing up. Lots more guidance for parents nowadays.
