I recently sprayed my Taco's underbelly with Formula 3000 and that went great. I was even able to pull the plugs on the rockers and get all up in there too.

The next spot I was thinking of spraying was the inner doors, BUT..... I am going to be installing some car audio equipment soon and that will of course include sound deadening (hush mat) inside the door on the door skins as well as the inner door panel. Once I get all that done, I was thinking of running a spray bead along the seams inside the door, trying to avoid the majority of the sound deadening and the speaker itself.

Question is, for those that are into car audio AND are actively treating for rust prevention, how are you handling the inner doors after you've done your work?

If it is going to rust, it will be at the bottom of the door and likely because the weep hole got plugged. You don't have to treat the whole inside of the door, just near the bottom where the water collects. But, best practice is to make sure the weep hole is always clear.

That's what I was thinking too, just spraying down in the seam of the door, where the door skin meets the frame, by the weeping holes. Just wondered if anyone else has already been doing this and what method they were following.
