I'm looking for sliders for my 08 DCSB. I am looking at RCI and 4x innovation for the area I am in. Only off road I do is thru fields and woods so rock climbing isn't an issue I just like the way they look. I haven't found and running boards that don't look like, well running boards. I'm looking at kickoff and top plate. Any body with pics or any helpful info is appreciated. Have a great 4th!

Are there specific photos you’re after?

Both manufacturers have photos on their websites.

If you want sliders that perform like steps but offer protection like sliders, look into cali raised ones. They offer bolt on zero degree ones with top plate and kick outs. Sharp looking.

It would probably be better to get RCI:
-bolt-on = removable to sell or repaint later
-20 degree angle for better clearance
-is one of the better brands in terms of how much coverage their mounting system has

welded sliders may isolate bending/impact force through the tubes into the frame. Not a spot you want to bend.

I’m going to suggest RCI, I’m an Rci fanboy. Have their sliders, skids and roof racks on my wife’s 4runner and my Tacoma. Their a solid product and Customer service is great and I believe their having a 15% off sale right now as well.

not the best pic of the sliders but it shows them.
