    has anyone had this done by a dealer and what did it cost, used to do it myself on my 2007 pretty simple, but sounds more complicated on the gen 3

    Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
    Not sure if more complicated but the newest R1234yf refrigerant is pretty pricey which makes the whole operation more expensive.

    2016+ models are more sensitive, but its basically the same process.

    You do risk contaminating the system and prohibiting future repairs.

    Big thing with 1234yf. Do not buy charge or oil with dye. It messes up the machine that later has to draw it out.
