replacement front door speakers for my regular cab?

I just finished installing a modified dash harness and during testing, my left door speaker cuts in and out (the tweeter works 100%). I checked all connections and they are good.

I'm looking for a replacement, something better than stock, I won't be replacing the tweeters and I'll need an adapter bracket because I don't want to drill any holes.

Modified harness doing what? If it’s anything with the stereo, I’d look there first.

Other than that, Crutchfield has a lot of speakers that fit, mounting adapters included, even for tweeters. Usually the manufacturers kits with mounting adapters included are lower quality setups.

The Rockford speakers you’ve attached are 2-way, or mid/tweeter combo. You’d have 4 tweeters and 2 mids up front with those.

 

Those are 2-way? It's a good thing I didn't order them. I need just the woofer.

 

Yeah, says right in the product description. Check the “component “ sets. Come with separate woofer/tweeter sets with crossover.

 

I didn't scroll far enough down. Is there just a woofer available? I don't want to replace the tweeter and I don't want to install a crossover.
