    Hi!
Dropped my tacoma off at the dealer today, and it's going to get a new frame. They gave me a loaner 22 4Runner which I'm really impressed with! Back to the point, they're saying it'll take 1-2 months. Is this normal? OR should i expect a different time frame? The dealer said they're only going to replace the frame. People on youtube say they've gotten suspension and loads of parts replaced free. What's the deal? Last week, they also replaced the cat free of charge! Dam Toyota!

Mine was done 2 years ago, but they only had the truck for 5 days. I turned down the rental as I have other cars. So when they said the front CV joints where shot (180K on them) we settled for 225.00 instead of 322.00 they wanted. Lower control arms , gas and brake lines and gas tank straps are all in the repair order, so I understand all get those. I also had not done the rear leaf recall, so I got those also.

I had mine done a couple years ago. It took 4 months but most of that was waiting on the frame to come in. The paper work only had 40hrs for 2 men listed. They installed new brake lines and lca’s as well. Be sure to give it a good once over when they are done. They didn’t plug my fog lights up, the brake line were not tight and one of the wheel liners were loose.

I had mine done three years now.. it took 2days. Didn’t cost me a dime except for the rental gas. But i got new lower control arms and basically all the fluids were drained and filled except the trans. Only issue i had was they didn’t re attached a power wire from the battery for my heated seats.
