I have an occasional sliding sensation when bringing the truck to a complete stop. It feels somewhat like the brakes briefly let off, but that the body continues moving forward and then rebounds back, except I don’t have the sensation that the wheels are rolling forward as , just the body. This doesn’t always happen. I just completed a 2500 mile road trip and the truck performed just fine, including thru many switched backed mountain passes. I’ve checked my suspension hardware and everything I’ve checked is at torque specs.
    Anything I should be considering?

Maybe you need to have the brakes inspected, could be the rear shoes have dust build up and are slipping a bit.

are you "dog tracking"? where the back sits a bit to the side compared to the front (bad alignment), this will certainly cause a kick to the side under heavy braking.

You may also have a sticking caliper...could try cleaning/greasing the slide pins

This is my first thought, similar to braking with a body lift. Feels like ass.

No. it’s a quick and brief forward then rebound sensation.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    What happens in reverse?

If what your stating is correct something is moving and then being pulled back into position.

You have ruled out the seat being loose or the floor being cracked?

Bed mounts bushings intact and hardware tight?

Bad bushings in your leaf springs or control arms?
