    What's up,

I have the Wheelers 1.5" single AAL installed and it rides pretty rough. I don't have a lot of weight in the bed currently (only CBI Overland Bed Bars). It sits with a slight rake (a little less than factory) and I currently like the height.

I was looking for some options for a new leaf pack that will ride smoother that only gives about 1.5 inches of rear lift but can't seem to find any. Does anyone have a similar setup with a leaf pack instead of AAL? Thank you all for the help.

p.s If it's not a common thing, I can always have a shop adjust my Eibach Stage 1 up to the 2nd notch which should be about 2.5" of front lift and go with a different leaf pack, I'm just not sure and wanted to see my options first.

I have the progressive 3 leaf pack from Headstrong Off-road. I had them installed with the overload spring taken out. Gave me the 1.5 lift I was looking for and rides better than I anticipated.

Maybe take out the AAL and put a one inch block?

Yeah I thought about it, but I think I want to steer away from blocks. Thank you for the input though

If you have the budget just opt for the Icon Rxt leaf pack. I just installed the Icons last week and rides like a dream. The other cool thing about the Icons is it ships with an extra leaf so you have three options for settings depending on your weight. I have a camper shell and have built the back out with drawers and a sleeping platform so I ran option 2, paired it with 5160s, and it's perfect. feels like it should have come from the factory like this.

If you decide on a 3 leaf AAL the Headstrong is a great way to go. The new design doesn't require you to cut the band that holds the stock springs together like other AAL's do. That way if you decide to go back to stock you can just remove it. I have one as well but just haven't gotten around to installing it.

Awesome thank you, I was definitely looking for a full leaf pack and I like the fact that I can change the RXT up once I get a camper shell or tent or something. I appreciate it!

Icon RXT leaf pack. Wish I knew about this before I added Icon AAL. Oh well. My truck sits level, with the Leer camper shell.

Just that the added camping gear and other loads , I would like a 1 inch more rake. I am looking at a one block? And the Sas helper springs. Helper springs is available on my island.

I have the 1/2" shim as well since I want to keep some rake when I install my lift and 3 leaf AAl. Did you add any angled shims also to prevent any vibrations? If so how many degrees? Any vibrations? TIA (Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread)

That stance looks great. How much lift do you have in the front?

No worries, I have a similar height. I have the 1.5" single aal. It rides a lot stiffer since it's a single AAL (hence why I'm asking for different options) but no vibrations other than the needle bearing vibe but the ECGS bushing fixed that. I don't have any shims.

Here's a photo of my setup with the Eibach Stage 1 on the first clip (2" in the front) and the 1.5" single aal. It maintains a slight rake but enough to look good I think.

Seems like that's the super popular route. I'm definitely buying it as my next mod since everyone likes how it rides

Man I'm disappointed in myself. I was so excited to finally start the project that I didn't measure. Using eyeball measurements I would guess I got the full two inches as its noticeable when getting into the truck. I used to have a TJ that I lifted 3" and this feels slightly less than that, if that means anything lol

Looks super good, 2" lifts seem perfect, that's what I'm running right now in the front.
