    If I had a dollar for every tamale I’ve eaten, I’d go buy some tamales with it.

    Made right, they are delicious. We had a lady down the street that made yummy ones. Then she died and her daughter tried to carry on the tradition. They are okay but not as good as her moms

    You guys are missing out. They are best warm fyi. I will say there are more bland ones than good ones. That the issue, theres some great ones though. I make a decent one myself they are just a lot of time to make.

    Oh yeah. In ABQ there were several older ladies that came to the shop every morning with burritos and tamales. Absolutely fantastic vittles. Cheap too! Damn I miss NM…
    New Mexican food is the best. Not that Sonoran stuff in AZ, not the Tex-Mex in Texas…or even in Cali…:thumbsup::crapstorm:
