Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I think it was homemade. It definitely wasn't Stove Top. Filling = Stuffing in these parts.

My grandmother did not wash her clothes; she "warshed" them.

My dad calls "towers" "tires". I remember once he was going to get a tire to make a deer stand. We went back and forth 9 times before I realized he meant a metal tower

I remember growing up we had one of these old Igloo 5 gallon water coolers strapped to the 140 pulling sleds through the baccer (tobacco) field

It had the cup holder bracket on the side but we never had cups. We just drank from the spout.

When I was about 5yo , my dad cut the rows with a mule, I had a piece of tobacco stick to poke a hole , my sister put a plant in there and my brother and grandpa carried water to put on em. I don't know how in the hell we survived, lol.

I've got many a miles on my legs walking behind a tobacco setter carrying plants and planting what they missed. My dad talks about working land with a mule, luckily we didn't have to do that.

Now a days when I travel back to Pennsylvania I see the Amish doing exactly what you describe. It still blows my mind every time I see them.

When I was about 10 , I finally moved up the ladder. I drove the mule with the loaded skids back to the barn so the gals could tie the tobacco on the sticks. Our skids didn't have wheels either , lol.

I remember the smaller version of these.... definitely made of plastic. I want to say there were half-gallon. Maybe a gallon at the most.
The spout was on the lid, and it was a screw top. Some spouts rotated out into position; others just flipped up. I had red and blue versions.

When I was just out of high school, these things became the container of happy water, much to the chagrin of my parents.
I can't tell you how many times I got chewed out for essentially ruining them if I ever put a spirit aged in a (charred) barrel in one of these (mixed with 7up or coke, of course). That stink would never wash out.

Afterwards I learned I was free and clear if I went with the clear spirit.... :D
