I’ve never had round-up or ground clear leach through the dirt and kill grass in my yard. I need to find some 2,4-D and spray my second driveway.

Rural King has this stuff called Crossbow. Kind of expensive, but boy does it pack a punch!

I’ve heard of that, I think we may have used it a time or two. I know someone who used to mix 2,4-D with diesel fuel, no grass under the fences for years after spraying once or twice!

Quite pricey but excellent for shrubs and heavy brush. Overkill for weeds imo unless you've got $ to burn.

I'm an inexpensive tools kinda guy BUT I once made the mistake of borrowing my brother's Stihl backpack sprayer. It's worth the $130 for comfort and performance.

Round Up should work pretty good on that IMHO

Roundup is neutralized the second it hits the soil. It only kills the plants it lands on. Once it dries on the leaves it no longer a danger to other plants you want to keep.

Back when I had the job of trimming trees out of power lines, we'd mix roundup with diesel and spray it on Boxelder stumps to kill them. Boxelder trees besides being tall weeds are hard to kill. My theory was the diesel carried the roundup deeper into the stump.

Not the beat all end all but I’ve been lucky with Portland Cement spread with an old fertilizer spreader. They banned a lot of chemicals here. I’m not sure how it works where it’s warmer. Our plant growing season is a fraction of yours. Good Luck.

Yeah I don't know if that was done at this place or not.

But good to know it shouldn't cross contaminate.

    What is 2,4-D? I know what a D4-D is! :p

Rural King is quickly becoming one of my favorite stores and I have a pretty good sized one about 15 minutes from the house, I'll have to look for Crossbow next time I'm in there.

I bought it just for the heavy brush on my neglected property. Doesn't take care of the grass at all, but I spray it on my gravel drive to keep down the broadleaf weeds.

Honestly I kinda prefer the gravel, though I wouldn't mind paving under the carport overhang thing.

English is many languages in a trench coat that beats up other dialects in back alleys and rifles through their pockets for dangling participles.

Concreting works for me, plus it doesn't give me red squiggles so bonus points.

My phone didn't like me typing concreting.
I'm not sure how much it is around here. It's going to be a good while. I need to fix the basement wall, add gas and water lines from the house, remove a red maple tree and grind up the stump. I feel like I'm missing something, but I can't remember.
