So it looks like my shipment was from two different warehouses. But, FedEx is on the move with this other one! Already at my local hub where it gets delivered from...

 

I splurged and bought my lifetime license when I last renewed. I can’t stand going to the DMV and waiting for over an hour for something that takes 5-10 minutes.

 

I went to Flir school years ago. The cameras back then were almost the size of a VHS camcorder.

Ikr, after day three of the scan my shoulders were pretty much immobilized.

 

Have a wire hair Daschand , man is he grumpy, he likes me and tolerates the family. He has a nose on him, bring each time I get a deer to track.

 

We still have one that looks like a late 90’s jvc at work. It’s a gas vue camera we use to spot SF6 gas leaks out of breakers. It’s pretty cool.

 

Got the brilliant idea to clean the 32" deep bathroom cabinet...

One of my past Plant Managers had a rule -- never have a shelf or cabinet deeper than your forearm -- things get lost.

A Manly deodorant soap no less...



That 4 cents off was a pretty good deal, hard to read but that ink stamp price is 15 cents - never did being so clean cost so little.



Anybody (else) here work in a store back when we priced everything with the ink stamper?

 

I remember being a kid in the grocery store and watching the stock boys with their price stampers whizzing through a carton of product... "Ka-chunka...", "Ka-chunka...", "Ka-chunka..." always looked like it would be fun!

 

We had the label guns. Worked as a stock boy at Winn Dixie in the mid 70s.

 

It takes 6 hrs to change the alternator in a 2nd gen Tundra...and I have lift!

 

They were okay, but they just weren't as cool as that massive chrome stamper!

 

WTF???? Where is the alternator? Welded inside the bell housing?

 

I still use Irish Spring for my face...

 

Behind the power steering pump bolted near the bottom of the block.

Rad comes out, fan shroud comes out, fan comes out, PS pump gets unbolted,serp belt gets removed, then you have enough room to access the bolts that hold the alternator to the block.

Then you find out that there are steel bushings in the alternator bolt holes. The new alternator does not come with these steel bushings. Of course the steel bushings are galvanic corroded to the old alternator housing. You get to distroy your old alternator to salvage those bushings. There goes your core exchange. But you won't care because you have been working on the truck for 4 hours!

All the time you are wishing you could meet the engineer that designed the layout on this fucking engine.

I would give up my pension for one, solid, FUPA punch on that prick!

 

Makes the 4 hours it took me for the Pilot sound like a walk in the park!

 

Random fact:
I used Irish Spring one time, I got a trip to the ER out of it, my entire body broke out in hives. I guess I have sensitive skin

Random fact number B:
I worked at an IGA in the 80's; we had label gun contests (speed)...I won every time.
But none of the prizes were nearly as awesome as the prizes given away in this thread!!

 

Definitely more of a dog person. I don’t mind cats other than I’m allergic to them.
My wife had 2 little ankle biter yappy dogs when we got together. Still have them but not as yappy, with their new bark collars, since the neighbor complained one day when we were out of town and my brother forgot to put them inside.

 

Forget which vehicle it is, but looked up replacing a starter for someone and it’s located under the intake in the middle rear. The removal/replacement list was insane! You know it’s bad when you need half your gaskets replaced on a starter job.
