^^ That is not correct unless they are offering KDMAX Pro tunes.

My mistake, it is the OV tune that is offered from that vendor.

There was original OVTune files, then OVTune 2.0 base files we could build from. Now, KDMAX files are build from the VFTuner platform stock files. With several versions releases and now thousands of trucks running KDMAX Pro releases we arrive at "KDMAX Pro+XT" which covers these updates that have evolved more and more :
    - Improved low end response, further refined in "XT"
    - Extended shiftpoints to fit powerband, further refined in "Pro+"
    - Octane learning from 85-95 octane
    - Improved/smoother shifting
    - Works with CAI's, Custom Exhausts, and Dumptubes
    - 4Lo tested for smooth and strong at low speeds
    - Multiple throttle options and dual-map access with automatics

    Eibach stage 1 -wheeler’s 2” aal-spc uca’s FN 5 Star w/Falken Rubitrek AT 265/70r17. Nitro 4:88’s KDMax tuned Leer 100r
Coming from pro normal throttle (great tune) , I now have ran about 2 tanks of 87 fuel with pro+ xt normal throttle. I’m an AT long bed with leer shell and carry 100lbs tools….2” lift w/32’s and 4:88’s.
Highly recommend this tune for those that are geared with 4:88 or 5:29’s as well as stock gearing. Difference from stock tune is huge. Compared to pro, definitely notice the added torque and I’m a fan of gears (especially 5th) being held a tad longer! It’s just smoother acceleration overall. Haven’t noticed much difference in town mpg (~17.5) compared to pro and no road trips yet to compare. Drivability is excellent and tows my boat (s-5) with or without ect excellent. To me, this tune is a must have!

Love it …Thank you KDmax and @Phich !!!!

A little over one more week before I get my truck updated to this tune!!!!
Sounds like I'd better take it for a test drive as while he's down.

Here is my writeup after a couple of months on XT and a recent 1500 mile trip around the PNW in my stock 2019 Pro:

@Idahotaco88 hooked me up with the XT tune, lite tip in the first week XT came out. I had no tune before. He was a total pro to work with.

Expectation: I really just wanted the transmission to hold gears long enough so that the engine wouldn't bog at an upshift, and for the trans to be in a reasonable gear when I stepped on the gas in stop and go traffic. Factory tuning seemed to be in a race to get into 6th gear, which was almost always the wrong gear for acceleration.

What I got with the XT was that and much more. Immediately noticeable was:

    - Transmission is always in the right gear and ready to go when I touch the gas even a little
    - Much better shifting while driving in normal traffic
    - Much better downshifting when slowing to a stop. I didn't realize that my difficulty with braking smoothly was a result of the factory tune skipping gears, resulting in random engine braking during a stop. Stops are smoother now.
    - The truck has discovered 5th gear. 5th is used frequently, providing so much more responsiveness without downshifting when I just want to keep up with traffic or go up a small hill. I really like that.
    - More torque at low RPM. It's not like a turbo was added, but in traffic and going over small hills the extra torque is just enough to avoid the constant downshifting.
    - Non-radar cruise is AMAZINGLY better. Thank you! Used it all the time on our vacation.
    - Radar cruise seems pretty much the same as it was pre-tune to me, so I didn't use it unless on level ground.
    - MPG seems the same or a little better.

Things I hope for in the next XT-Ultimate tune:

    - For my nearly 60 year old foot, lite tip in is still too aggressive. The truck sometimes jumps forward because I just don't have the fine ankle control I used to. How about "Prius Tip In" as a 4th choice next time? (the newest Prius has really nice tip in actually)
    - At low speeds (25 and under) and light steady throttle, for example in a parking lot or in a tight neighborhood street, the shift from 1-2 and even 2-3 lurches the truck forward. I think in that situation either the shift points should be at lower RPM, or the torque converter fully unlocked for squishy shifting to avoid the lurch.

Overall I'm super happy and would never go back! Thanks to everyone who made this tune possible and delivered it to my truck locally.

Rich hooked me up a few weeks back. Not even sure which tune he used but i had a super old one with an overly sensitive throttle. Much much better now. Thanks again Rich!
