Finally took the time to fix it. The connection to the knock sensor was cut. I went and replaced it and got it all put back together. Took a total of 4 hours to replace the knock sensor harness and all the gaskets and seals. It cost around $100 to do it myself. If anyone needs some advice to do this let me know! I learned some cool pointers.

Did you buy the new connector from Toyota? Solder it in?

Good job OP! Looks like it was mostly taking off the manifold and any hoses/wiring in the way? Well some. Saved yourself $1900 and learned something new.

Good, now you have and excuse to go and spend $1900 on mods for the truck.

seems like I’m going thru this exact same issue, and I’m debating to make the repairs myself, what seals and gaskets did you replace and what parts did you order exactly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you repair or replace the wire? Where did you find the knock sensor harness? What gaskets and seals did you replace? Can you provide part numbers?

I am going through the same thing right now, check engine light code P0328 knock sensor and trac light on..Found a mouse nest... Have you started repairs yet? Pretty sure these 2 sets of gaskets will have to be replaced... Engine Intake Manifold Gasket (17177-0P030) and Air Surge Tank to Intake Manifold Gasket (17176-31130)
I found the original poster on instgram and sent him a message, hoping to get a faster response than here... I'm also having trouble finding the wire harness.. I'll keep you updated and I'm going to make a youtube video of the repair process within the next couple weeks.
