A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
    Dear Toyota,

I've owned a bunch of your trucks. The access cab is my favorite. Would you please build me one TRD PRO in an access cab? I don't care what color you pick.

    Love Robert

Edit: I want this to make a baby with this. We good?

The is the cool thing about Tacomas is you can get the trim (or configuration) that is closest to your needs and wants. If it is not exact, Mod it until you are happy with it.

An access cab manual Pro would be a rocking setup!

Lots of people mod their Pros, you could probably get most of the parts as take offs if you started with an AC.

Would anyone buy and single or access cab that came with a short bed (and shorter wheel base) or is that just a bad idea?

The access cabs all come with the 6 foot bed, I believe the regular cabs did as well.

I would be interested in a regular cab 6 foot bed truck in 2wd though. Without the pre-runner look. Take me back the mini truck days....

But I would also take that in an AC cab with the pro package....

The first Tacoma TRD Pro (2015) was available in the Access Cab configuration. I would probably have bought one if they had them for the 3rd Gen since the “Longbed” was a must for me. I ended up adding all the pro parts to my 2018 OR to sorta make my own Longbed Pro.

I have too admit. Building a basic sr5 would be amazing. But frankly, and I'm not joking. I don't have the down time. I'm an active dad. My 8 year old can drive and back up the old manual alone. I'd rather be out ripping off skidplates then installing them. That said, I seem to spend alot of time installing skid plates... with three trucks, I need a family discount plan.

It still amazes me a PRO comes with just an engine plate. Are you joking? Way to strand a brother.. either do the whole thing or nothing

My sport has OR shocks and coils from a 2022 that got lifted, i installed them with no complications. If you look closely at the original photo. A g2 does NOT normally sit so proud in the nose. I think I got a .5 inch lift from the springs/shocks
