I’m the opposite…. I don’t want my dishwasher dirty so I hand wash a lot. Weird, I know…

 

Looking back at all the things you did then and i bet you wonder why you did a lot of it lol

 

I rinse food particles out in the sink when I can, but the strainer system is pretty good in the dishwasher. Although it can get a little funky, so I can see where you're coming from

 

I wash and or clean my washing machine, my dishwasher, my vacuum cleaner, and my garbage cans. My family thinks I’m crazy…… but I don’t ask them so idgaf

 

We scrub our plates cleam then put them in the dishwasher

Were on a well so that helps. Usually we dont run the water much. We put them in the sink and soak them then scrub them and rinse.

When its been 102° outside and the ac kicks off...

 

I'm on a well as well (heh), but it's super dry right now and I'm not sure how well the well is going to take it. I have a cistern as "backup" (really only feeds the outside spigots) that I can back-feed into the system and get water delivered in an emergency, but would rather not.

I knew some people that would let their dog clean off the plates then they would put them in the dishwasher...i guess they invited someone over one time that didnt approve of that and never went back over there

My friends well is 25 feet and doesn't have an in-well pump. Apparently there's a spring that runs underneath, but there's a couple times it ran low on water. Water smells horrible. Keep telling them they're gonna have to drill a new one, but it keeps falling on deaf ears

 

That's a hard pass for me.
