Has this happened to anyone else? Thoughts?

after pumping gas (and it’s every time I pump gas) no matter how much gas I have my taco won’t start. I’m not sure if it’s the anti theft or what it could possibly be. I’m taking it to the mechanic in a couple of days. But was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. Someone at the gas station told me it could be the anti theft, but I’m not sure. It takes a few times of me gasing it for it to turn on. But it’s only when I pump gas, any other time it turns on normally. I do have my check engine light that’s on, autozone said it was the Mass Airflow sensor. I cleaned it, but no luck. Please no hate I have no idea what’s happening and yes I posted yesterday but just trying to make my question more clear .

 

Do you top off after the click? IF so, it could be your vapor recovery (ORVR).

EVAP issue caused by topping up fuel after first click off at pump

 

Welcome to Tacoma world. Don't top off tank to full not good. Never fill over you will be ok.
