    Thanks man. We have contemplated searching for the home we got these cats from to see if the momma cat is still around. Bad thing is we can't remember the exact location. That might be a little weird (ok, it is weird). We have driven halfway across the country for other animals...so not too far fetched.

    I do Will. I believe both males are in a museum in Illinois? Can't remember.

    I can't remember if I told this story in this thread. Probably did, but I'm going to tell it again...:rofl:

    I was raised in Montana and a good family friend owned Zoo Montana outside Billings. He called me up one day and said "Chris, get your ass over here!!" I went over since he always had some sort of exotic animals over there (backyard was totally fenced off). I showed up and they had young tigers there. One of the best big cat experiences ever. They were a little smaller than my German Shepherd (he is big, around 110 lbs) but so very strong. Playing with them was amazing. They were so strong as little cubs and could overpower you very easily. I did mess up. When playing with them I ran away like playing with a dog. That was a poor choice and I was tackled by one starting with a little bite to my ass. They were just playing and it did break the skin. So I can say my ass has been tenderized by a tiger cub..:eek:

    My daughters are better but my wife (and I if being honest) have struggled with this loss. Pan Pan (as we called him) was always around and was such a unique cat.

    We are going to the shelter to check out kittens. We don’t plan to get any today but you never know. In any event we need to do much preparation before bringing a couple home. I’m a little concerned how our older cat is going to act when we do bring a couple home. Lord give me strength to resist today.
