My headlight housings are original to my 2006, so they are definitely showing their age. I've sanded and polished them twice now, most recently I sanded and applied new clear coat to them. I think my yellowing and haziness is inside of the housing, it just won't come off.

So, now we come to my question. Here are the aftermarket tail lights i've installed to the truck.

I really like the U light surrounding the LED portion. I've found an aftermarket set of headlights similar to this, but they have horrible reviews for light output (which seems to be the case for all aftermarket headlight housings i've found).

I was specifically looking at these ones. https://www.amazon.com/2005-2011-Pr...---------&vehicleName=2006+Toyota+Tacoma&th=1

To keep good light output that won't be scattered all over, can you do a retrofit on these aftermarket headlights? Or is the material too cheap? I recently did a HID retrofit on my integra, wasn't the worst thing in the world to do, maybe I could do the same with these?
