Noticed the residue in the images attached on the hose from the radiator to the expansion tank and on the short hose/cap at the bottom of the tank...Coolant is at the correct level, and no sign anywhere else of leaking coolant (fresh or residue)...Truck has never overheated (I've owned since new), ...Welcome your thoughts...It's a 2020 OR...Thanks!

Check fluid level in your cold radiator, also. Then rinse off all the residue, and watch levels to see if they drop, or the residue comes back.

The salt like residue that remains shows that coolant did leave the system and leaked where it is seen (clearly). However since the level is still perfect, the drip leak is probably negligible and can be ignored. If you are feeling antsy you can pickup a small one hole strap/clamp to really clamp down on the expansion/overflow tank connection hose.

The expansion tank is not a pressure boundary, so you get a little weepage from the cap / hose that then dries and crystallizes. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

I’m studying the images and failing to see the issue your are worrying about. Are you sure someone didn’t simply spill some coolant on the hose? I wouldn’t worry much about coolant leaks unless the level is dropping fast and/or you are finding it in your engine oil. Both are highly unlikely on a new automobile.

Appreciate the responses...I'll check the level in the radiator, clean the residue off, and monitor...Thanks!
