    Could always just cut the wire and extend it and pull it through the firewall to the in cab fuse box.

    Alright y’all, I was tapping into the wrong ignition fuse, found the right one that was hiding behind the 80A fuse, we have success ladies and gentleman, thanks for all the help lmfao

    So it’s all wired in but since it’s the yellow SS5s it only comes with the amber color backlight so I couldn’t tell you how it would work with the multi color, sorry

    Bringing this back to life real quick. Im wiring up a 7 pod SS5 cross-link light bar to my switch panel and think I can use this setup but wanted to be sure bc I have an extra wire. So let me make sure I have this correct. On my switch panel I have it broken down like this:

    Switch 1: Main Beam
    POS-Red wire
    NEG-Black wire

    Switch 2: Backlight
    POS-Blue Wire
    NEG-Empty

    I'm left with a yellow wire coming out of the pigtail. Do I just need to cap that?
